The International Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research (ICAMR) is the only advanced materials manufacturing development center focused on the integration of semiconductor based processes and materials into future products like smart sensor and photonics devices. ICAMR serves as a one-stop shop for development and integration of advanced devices and materials (processes, tools, prototyping, EDA), providing access to materials (like GaN, InGas, and other III-V materials).More About ICAMR
Osceola County, Florida, July 8, 2016 – It’s imec!
The world-leading nanoelectronics research center today announced the opening of imec Florida, a new entity focusing on photonics and high-speed electronics Integrated Circuit (IC) design that will be based in Osceola County. The new imec Design Center will work in close collaboration with the International Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research (ICAMR) on an R&D design center.
The creation of the ‘imecDesign Center’ provides instant credibility to Osceola County’s efforts to become the heart of smart sensor innovation.
Through the strength of our member partners we are able to offer immediate assistance for the development and integration of advanced devices and materials as well as long-term solutions to fill technology and capability gaps across multiple fields. Our manufacturing development centers will focus on two initial functional platforms: advanced materials and devices development; advanced packaging, test and device integration testing
